This appointment marks an important milestone—not only for Randi and our clinic, but also for the young athletes she supports as they compete on an international stage.
Supporting the Team in St. Croix
Randi is traveling to St. Croix today to support the team during their current training camp. Her role includes on-field medical coverage, injury prevention, recovery strategies, and overall athlete wellness. She will return to the Morris Spine & Sport office on Tuesday, continuing to care for patients at home while preparing for the next phase of international competition.
Eyes on CONCACAF—and Beyond
At the end of January, Randi will rejoin the team for a 10-day international competition at CONCACAF (Confederation of North, Central America and Caribbean Association Football) in Managua, Nicaragua. This tournament is a critical step in the qualification pathway.
If the team performs well, they will advance to the next level of competition with the ultimate goal of qualifying for the FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup, scheduled for October/November 2026 in Morocco.
An Experienced Coaching Staff
The USVI U-17 team is led by Katie Quinlan, Head Coach, who brings an exceptional background to the program. Katie holds both UEFA A and US Soccer A Senior licenses and currently serves as Girls Academy Director at Almaden FC. Prior to moving to California, she was the Director of Player Development and Head Coach at STA.
Randi previously worked alongside Katie on the sidelines as the official Team Physician and Wellness Provider for STA, supporting all Women’s Premier Soccer League home matches during Katie’s tenure there with the Women’s Premier Soccer League.
A Trusted Partnership
The Assistant Coach for the USVI U-17 team is Kelly Sims, STA’s Girls Academy Director. Randi supports all STA U13-U19 girls and boys teams at home matches throughout the year and works closely with Kelly on athlete care, performance, and injury prevention.
Their professional relationship runs deep—Kelly was also the very first guest on Randi’s Powerful Women interview series, highlighting leaders making an impact in sports, health, and performance.
Proud to Support the Next Generation
From local sidelines to international tournaments, Randi’s work reflects Morris Spine & Sport’s commitment to high-level care, athlete wellness, and empowering young women in sport. We are incredibly proud to support Randi as she represents our clinic and continues to make a global impact—one athlete at a time.
We’ll be cheering on the USVI U-17 Girls every step of the way.
